To create an experiential narrative that immerses visitors into the origin of languages and specifically, Arabic’s origins, connecting to the social, scientific and cultural aspects.

Design an tactile led exhibition that celebrates the rich heritage and evolution of Arabic showing how language shapes identity, society, and memory, inspiring pride and curiosity in Arabic-speaking visitors.

research

Collaborating with different teams, I led the design of 30 interactive touchpoints, designing to highlight neurology of language through sound, movement and texture. Inspired by the form of arabic letters, these forms were used as visual treatment to unify the touchpoints across the exhibition.

Building

A cultural experience that positions language as a living organism. Visitors learn to see, hear, touch, and play with Arabic, from its roots to its role in global culture. The exhibition bridges the gap between personal memory, scientific processes and collective heritage, creating both functional role as well as a emotional connection.

outcome

The project was a pleasure to lead, as a non speaker in Arabic, I had to work heavily with my Arabic colleagues to ensure the creative intention and vision alligned with one another.
