Oval works proposed a innovation of foundry making. From the observations and interviews from people and companies situated on the site, I wanted to focus on the scope of a craft seen as dying. After observing the James Hoyle and Sons foundry in its appearance, I tried to produce a more sustainable and engaging foundry through the recycling of sand used for moulds.
