Cultural Resilience in the City
From community to stakeholders, where does community strength and identity come from? How can the role of architecture provide a bridge for dialogue? Why is memory and place related, and why is this important in the regenerative process of rebuilding a city? This investigation is not just to acknowledge the power of transient architecture and communal spaces to build spaces of resistance for the future generations. Furthermore, my research explores how communities show cultural resilience through bottom up placemaking.
