Boardwalk Pavilion

Within end of second year, I was grateful to receive a scholarship position and work with a team at the Architectural Association's (AA) Visiting School for two weeks to produce a pavilion and board walk for the Kingcombe Centre organised by Dorset Wildlife Trust. During the two week I worked on several phases of constructions, using a CNC to replace old signage, prefabricating timber frames, putting down foundations. For the decking of the boardwalk we used unplained red cedar and for the pavilion framing we plained douglas fir and plained red cedar.
